In a forgotten village in the middle of Scandinavia a wealthy businessman from across the ocean has lost his way to an important conference. The rental car has broken down, his fancy cell phone has no signal, and in the empty cafe where he has found refuge the magical little woman speaks no english.
He wears an expensive watch. Time stands still.
Outside the wind is howling as a snowstorm covers the landscape...
'DON'T LET ME DOWN' is the tale of a man forced to face his own truth.
Through it's poetic atmosphere, striking imagery, and the deep complicity between it's two main players, it takes the audience on a transcendent journey into the healing of a human soul.

LOUISE HANSEN has dreamt her entire life of standing on a big stage.
Since her school-teacher parents first taught her to read and write she has composed poems and written diaries. At the age of 12 she chose to live in a special community in Denmark called 'Marjatta'. It is an area of land and homes for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and has a strong focus on supporting the growth and potential of each resident through their connection with their spirit, the arts, and nature.
Louise has been featured in lead roles in amateur theatre productions created at Marjatta and a book of her poetry has been published by Attika Press.
She has composed several short poems which her character will speak to the audience in 'DON'T LET ME DOWN'.
Louise leads a rich and inspired life, all this despite being born with what is referred to as down's syndrome.
She is thrilled to be part of this production and to share her talents with audiences across Denmark.
TOMAS KUBINEK is an internationally acclaimed solo theatre artist who plays to sold-out houses at theatres and festivals around the world.
He has worked in opera houses, circus tents, concert halls, on Broadway, appeared on television and in films and has written and directed plays for other artists and theatre companies.
He is the recipient of numerous international awards including; The Moers Comedy Prize from The International Comedy Arts Festival in Germany, The Jury Prize from the International Festival of Humor in Arosa, Switzerland, and The Samuel Beckett Theatre Award from The Dublin Theater Festival in Ireland.
Mr. Kubinek was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, grew up in Canada, and has been performing since the age of nine.
He is very happy to have met Louise Hansen and to be working together with her in 'DON'T LET ME DOWN'.

PAOLO NANI (director) is an internationally recognized actor, teacher, and director and has toured with his performances to many countries.
His solo piece 'THE LETTER' has brought him much success and acclaim at Europe's top theatre festivals and has won him awards including the 'United Slapsick First Prize Award'.
Other successes include 'Aliens - Is there Life on Earth?', 'My Head', and 'The Art of Dying'.
With Icelandic actor Kristjan Ingimarsson Paolo Nani has formed 'Produktion Fantasia'. Under this banner the two of them continue to create groundbreaking new work on a regular basis.
